SKILLS SERIES – THE FIRST STEP TO COMPETITION

In a skill set, you perform your own short, pre-rehearsed routine. You can use familiar trick moves and supplement them with control, strength and mobility moves. Focus on what you already know - there is no need to learn new difficult tricks for the event.

Participation does not require participation in the Finnish Championship battles. The skill series is not the Finnish championship series.

Rules

SERIES SELECTION
One Finnish Championship per competitor. The Under 13 Championship includes those aged 12 and younger, and the Youth Championship includes those aged 13-17. The Open Finnish Championship is open to adults and also to younger competitors who choose the Open Championship.

The skill series is a separate form of participation and does not determine the Finnish championship.

BATTLE
Competitors take turns performing tricks and combos. Judges evaluate the performances and decide which competitor advances to the next round.

The number of entries per series, the determination of the age limit, and the evaluation instructions for the skill series will be published before registration opens.

Evaluation criteria

In the Finnish Championship battles, kicking technique, acrobatics, style and creativity, performance and difficulty of the movements are taken into account. The performances are evaluated as a whole.

Detailed judging guidelines for the Finnish Championships will be published before registration opens.

Jury

The jury for the Finnish Championships will be announced before the event.
